Center for the Inland Bays to mark 20th Anniversary with Aug. 14 gala event

July 24, 2014

The Delaware the Center for the Inland Bays will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a Gala on the Bay from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club overlooking Rehoboth Bay.

The evening will include a special raw bar and cocktail reception, dinner, Friends of the Bays Award presentation, live music, a photo booth and a silent and live auction featuring bay-themed gifts and services. The dress for the evening is summertime semiformal, with a beach twist. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased online at inlandbays.org.

“We can’t think of a better way to commemorate 20 years of hard work and improved water quality in the Bays,” said Chris Bason, CIB executive director, “than with a festive summer evening on the water to celebrate this momentous milestone.”
