SOLitude's Volunteer of the Quarter helps environment and animals

Through its corporate volunteering program, The SOLution, SOLitude Lake Management named Ann Marie Dori, marketing and special projects coordinator, Volunteer of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2014.

Dori spent over 45 hours volunteering in her community during the second quarter. She helped coordinate a SOLitude team, including coworkers, her husband and many friends, for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Save the Bay Day, a watershed cleanup event. She also spent numerous nights and weekends setting up appointments for pets of low-income families to be spayed and neutered free of charge through the FiXiT Foundation. In her own neighborhood, she spent many weeks this spring trapping and rescuing a family of feral kittens.

“Ann Marie is passionate about giving back to her local community and going above and beyond to help however and wherever she can,” said Tracy King, director of marketing. “We are very fortunate to have her on our staff and for her enduring contributions to 'The SOLution.'”
