Lewes couple celebrates 60th anniversary

Lewes residents Robert and Geraldine Ball quietly celebrated 60 years July 25. They were married in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1954 at Union Baptist Church.
They have six children, Robert Ball, Audrey Marciniszyn, Barbara Marsh, William Ball, Tracy Repko and Erik Marciniszyn; seven grandchildren, Amanda Wyman, Rachel Bowden, Heather Marsh, Madlyn Marsh, Angela Ball, William Ball, and Evan Ball; and three great-granddaughters, Sophie Bowden, Emily Repko, and Abigail Repko.
The Balls moved from West Chester, Pa., to Lewes in 1995, and prior to West Chester, they lived in Long Island, N.Y. Their move from Long Island came after Beloit Corporation purchased the family business, Ball and Jewell Inc.
