Kids' Ketch to host 'Dozer's Run' book signing Aug. 2

Dozer to appear in person
July 30, 2014

Kids’ Ketch will host a book signing for the true story, "Dozer's Run," from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.,  Saturday, Aug. 2. The two authors, Rosana Panza, Dozer’s owner, and Debbie Levy will be joined by Dozer and all are welcome, including dogs, at Kids’ Ketch.

Three years ago, 3-year-old goldendoodle Dozer bolted from his Maryland backyard when runners in a half-marathon benefiting a cancer center zipped by. Instead of heading for the hills, the lanky yellow dog joined the race, crossing the finish line at two hours and 14 minutes!

Upon hearing of Dozer's accomplishment, many people opened their wallets, and Dozer raised over $25,000 for the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.

Children, runners, and dog lovers will be especially charmed by the accomplishments of Dozer. He continues in his fundraising efforts to fight cancer as he became the top dog of the Maryland Half Marathon.

Kids’ Ketch is at 132 Second St. in Lewes. For more information, call 302-645-8448.
