McGlone will provide a new direction

August 1, 2014

The letter from William Ullman the appeared in the July 25 Cape Gazette stated "Misconceptions about Rehoboth outfall abound . . ." I wonder why Mayor Cooper has not articulated these "misconceptions?" Why has the proposal sat on the DNREC secretary's desk for nearly two years with no action? No wonder people are confused. Something is not right.

We need new leadership, specifically Tom McGlone, who as mayor will articulate, provide transparency, and cut through the red tape involved. This whole ocean outfall issue has become an embarrassment for the Rehoboth mayor and the commissioners. I recall the Cape Gazette even calling for interference from Governor Markell to solve this issue once and for all.

I congratulate Tom McGlone for asking the hard questions.

Let's retire Mayor Cooper and vote for Tom McGlone as the new mayor on August 9. The entire population of Rehoboth Beach will benefit from the new direction that is on the horizon.
