Voting for Sam Cooper should be a no-brainer

August 8, 2014

Having spent my childhood in Rehoboth Beach and eight years as a full-time resident, I cannot fathom why any property owner would not vote for Sam Cooper for mayor of Rehoboth Beach.

While many cities throughout our country are operating with significant deficits, Rehoboth Beach has operated with a surplus while maintaining a fine quality of life for its residents and summer visitors without significant tax increases.

Despite the increased development in Sussex County during the last decade, Rehoboth Beach has retained its charm and quality of life due to the leadership and dedication of Mayor Cooper and commissioners like Lorraine Zellers.

We should all be thankful that Mayor Cooper is willing to continue to serve the citizens of Rehoboth Beach.
