Major problem with director of Cape Henlopen Senior Center

August 14, 2014

The seniors at the Cape Henlopen Senior Center have a major problem; it is the director of our center.

She does not like seniors; she told one lady her father should go to the Gull House. Why is she there?

Despite what some have said in the letters to the editor, we are losing members - good members - what a shame. The average for the year was 1,200; this past year over 200 did not pay their dues; we are down in membership.

This center would go back to being a pleasant haven for us in our golden years if Leslie was fired as she should have been because of breaking the rules.

Many of us want to know what she does to contribute to the center; we only hear and see the negative. She even wanted to give the golf tournament fundraiser to someone else; the staff does everything. What does Leslie do to get a $50,000 a year salary?
