The Dewey Beach Patrol combined with Envirotech Evironmental Consulting, the Center for the Inland Bays, The Marine Education, Research and Rehabilitation Institute, and The Delaware Sea Grant Program to reach out to the community and expose them to the plant and animal life in the Inland Bays ecosystem.
The August 7 outreach program invited participants to engage in educational activities such as fish seining, horseshoe crabs and their lifecycle, wetlands function, aquatic macro-invertebrate identification and marine reptile displays.
