Vajrayana Center to host Medicine Buddha series Aug. 20-23

Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist Beach Center welcomes the return of His Holiness Grudrag Khentrul Rinpoche for a series of empowerments, teachings, and transmissions of the entire and complete Medicine Buddha practice.

The schedule is as follows: 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20, Medicine Buddha empowerment; 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, Medicine Buddha teaching and transmission; 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, Torma and Mandala offering, consecration to the ocean; 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 23, Tibetan yogas of body, speech and mind.

Rinpoche is the spiritual director and community teacher for Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist Beach Center in Rehoboth Beach and has returned for his third visit to teach about the philosophy of Buddhism.

Tibetan-born and exiled, Rinpoche was recognized at 5 years of age as the re~mind emanation and heir, Tulku, of Guru Padmasambhava. His teachings have expanded worldwide, gaining him recognition nationally and globally. His charitable contributions have helped establish and support the Wangchen Ling Monastery School that is home to over 200 young Anis and monks.
