We knew there would be changes but hoped for a fair assessment of our activities, but our new director, Leslie Boehlert, is more interested in having a business, where we are not allowed to talk, laugh or have a good time.
When we are enjoying our programs, dominoes, Wii, bingo, and my weight class - doors are closed in our faces to keep the noise down.
I go on a few trips that the center offers, and enjoy the fellowship; also going into the center to talk to Vera, Linda, Bernita and Theresa when she was there, before she was fired.
This is a senior center, not a business.
