Zellers thanks Rehoboth voters

August 15, 2014

Now that the election is over and things have calmed down, I wanted to acknowledge some special people.

First, to everyone who voted - either in person or by absentee ballot - thank you for caring enough to take the time to make your voice heard. Whether your candidate won or lost, I urge you to stay involved and engaged, as I will always welcome your input.

To my team - family, friends, and neighbors who supported my bid for re-election and who worked so hard delivering mailers, stuffing envelopes, hosting parties, planting signs and donating to the cause - thank you for your generosity and for helping get the word out. You are an awesome group, and I could not do this without you.

Again, thank you for your faith in me. It has been a privilege to serve the citizens of Rehoboth these last six years, and I am honored and humbled that you have allowed me to serve you again as your commissioner.

Lorraine Zellers
Commissioner-elect
City of Rehoboth Beach
