Seekers Spiritual Treasures Shop at St. Peter's to close this fall

Sale on items begins Aug. 16

Seekers Spiritual Treasures shop in the Parish Hall of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lewes will close its doors by the end of November. A sale on the contents will begin Saturday, Aug. 16, and continue until the shop closes.

Seekers will participate in providing events throughout the year in addition to the Summer Spirituality Series. Seekers, begun in 2007 at St. Peter’s Parish Hall, has been a resource for books and gifts for all faiths, offering items ranging from greeting cards, to books and Bibles, to spiritual gifts.

Many people from all faith traditions have come to Seekers Spiritual Treasures to explore their own or another spirituality, or simply to browse. Seekers participates in the Summer Spirituality Series, which has grown in popularity. Seekers will be wrapping up the Summer Spirituality Series Thursday, Aug. 28, and planning for the eighth series in 2015 will begin in early fall.

Seekers used the net proceeds from the store to help those in need, including the Cape Henlopen Food Basket, Doctors without Borders, work in Haiti and Centro Infantil in San Miguel de Allende.
