Membership drive ends Sept. 15, first concert Oct. 7
August 22, 2014

The Seaford Community Concerts Association membership drive is underway for the 2014-15 concert season. To celebrate its 66th season, the SCCA has added an extra concert, so audience will get six concerts for one low membership price this season. Current members should have received the new membership form in the mail.

Forms should be completed and returned by Aug. 29 to take advantage of the early bird pricing of $50 for single membership and $115 for family. After Aug. 29, the regular price of single at $55 and family at $120 will be in effect. The student price remains the same at $15. The membership drive ends Sept. 15.

SCCA does not sell individual tickets to concerts. Only members may attend, and the one-time membership fee covers all six concerts. Membership cards will be mailed Sept. 23 in plenty of time for the first concert Oct. 7.

The schedule for the 2014-15 season is as follows: WindSync, a wind ensemble, Tuesday, Oct. 7; Umi Garret, pianist, Wednesday, Nov. 5; Bronn Journey, harpist, Thursday, Feb. 5; Alex DePue/Migel DeHoyos, Monday, Feb. 23; New Shanghai Circus,Tuesday, March 10; Susan Egan, Broadway songstress, Tuesday, April 28.

All performances are held at the Seaford High School Madden Auditorium.  Doors open at 7 p.m. and each concert begins at 7:30. Remember to bring membership card to each performance.

The SCCA reminds members to consider becoming patrons. This year, a Benefactor Patron donation of $500 or more earns two free memberships and a Sustainer Gift of $250 earns one free membership. This additional money enables the SCCA to bring the very best entertainment available in this area and helped support an extra concert this season.
