Rehoboth mayor thanks voters

August 22, 2014

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the voters of Rehoboth Beach for giving me the opportunity and privilege to once again serve as mayor of our great city. It was really great to see so many citizens participate in the election and working for the various candidates. I would like to recognize the city staff, Board of Elections, and election officials who worked diligently to ensure a smooth election process.

A special thank you goes out to those individuals who gave so freely of themselves, their time, and their talent in advancing my campaign. I will not mention any names for fear of missing someone; however it was you who carried the day. To all of you who offered your support and encouragement to me during the weeks leading up to the election, I want you to know that your acts of kindness sustained me and gave me great strength.

I look forward to serving the city and its residents for the next three years as mayor. The door to the mayor’s office remains open and my phone number is listed in the phone book for anyone wishing to speak with me. Together, we can keep Rehoboth Beach the fantastic community we all love so dearly.
