Bayhealth Primary Care, Milford – Airport Road Welcomes Cindy Siu, MD, and Jonathan P. Simon, MD

Bayhealth Primary Care, Milford – Airport Road is pleased to announce the addition of board-certified family medicine doctor Cindy Siu, MD. Jonathan Simon, MD, who is board-certified in internal medicine, joined the practice less than a year ago. The two of them joined Loretta Edmondson, MD, and G. Mitchell Edmondson, MD. Drs. Siu and Simon are now accepting new patients.

The practice is part of the Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians, their clinical staff, and an administrative support team that operates practices throughout central and southern Delaware.

“Both Drs. Siu and Simon have impressive backgrounds and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. They are tremendous assets to our practice.” said Dr. G. Mitchell Edmondson. “We are now well positioned to meet the growing primary care needs of our community.”

As a Dover, Delaware native, Dr. Siu says she looks forward to coming back and serving the community that raised her. She explains that her attraction to family medicine is that it offers an unique opportunity to care for patients throughout their life span and experience patient advocacy in a way that is not possible in other specialties.

Prior to earning her medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Dr. Siu received a master’s from Columbia University Institute of Human Nutrition in New York. She was the family medicine chief resident in the Christiana Care Health System before coming to Bayhealth. She is a member of the Jefferson Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes residents who demonstrate compassionate clinical care and exceptional leadership. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Simon graduated with high honors from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St Kitts. With a natural interest in the sciences and desire to help people, it was not until later in life, after a successful business career, that he was able to pursue his passion for medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Pinnacle Hospitals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Simon is a member of the American College of Physicians.
