Men’s Member/Member Team Tournament Wrap Up

Congratulations to our Winners!

It was a fantastic weekend for golf, with the temperatures settling in the high 80’s and a nice breeze from the towering pines overhead, our golfers set out to see who would come out on top in our Men’s Member/Member Team Tournament! There were two trophies up for grabs, the first being awarded to the team with the lowest net score, while the second would be given to the team with lowest gross score. 36 holes were played with the best 18 holes being selected!

 Lowest Net Score: Standings!

Congratulations to the first-place team of Jim Sadowski & Ken Carruthers, shooting the lowest net score out of all our teams over the weekend with a phenomenal -19/53! It was quite the finish on Sunday with the standings deadlocked after 36 holes, Jim & Ken were sent into playoff holes edging out a victory after a highly contested sudden death playoff round Congrats Jim & Ken! Finishing in second was the team of Brian Hayes & Shawn Jones! Brian & Shawn played outstanding over the weekend shooting a fantastic -17/55 but in the end fell just two shots off the lead landing them in our second-place spot! Rounding out our top three was the team of Tom Love & Ken Baker! These two played fantastic throughout the two days, finishing only three shots off the lead with a solid -16/56!

 Lowest Gross Score: Standings! 

Moving into our second tier of scoring (lowest gross score), join us in congratulating our first-place team of Ron Lewis & Oscar Pickenhiem, playing a great tournament finishing with a gross score of par (even/72)! Ron & Oscar were also in the running for the lowest net score but ultimately came up short after a valiant effort in the playoff rounds! Congrats Ron & Oscar. Next on our list, sliding in at second place, was the pair of Blasé Gavlick & Greg Macklin. Gavlick & Macklin were extremely close to taking home the first-place trophy finishing just one shot over par (+1/73)!
