Shaffer Family Foundation Presents $149,585 to First Responder Nonprofits

On Wednesday, the Shaffer Family Foundation “A Component of the Greater Lewes Foundation” proudly presented checks totaling $149,585 to 15 nonprofit beneficiaries at the conclusion of the 4th Annual Rally for Our First Responders. This incredible amount was raised thanks to the generosity and support of our community.

Our small but mighty committee—Joyce Bauchner, Manny Mann, Ann Marie Truszienski, Kyle Shaffer, Darren Shaffer, and Sarah Collier (not present)—was honored to represent the Foundation and celebrate the impact of this event.

The 5th Annual Rally for Our First Responders will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 12–5 PM at Hudson Fields in Milton, DE, with a rain date of Sunday, June 1, 2025.
