‘Called to Pray’ book series released
What protection do people have from terrorism and violence, both domestic and international? What can repair the brokenness and bridge political divisions in this country? What control does anyone have over nuclear threats from other power-hungry nations? Where can people find shelter from extreme weather conditions? A new three-book series, “Called to Pray,” by Sara Lewis, published by Fruitbearer Publishing LLC, is designed to prepare everyone for just those situations.
“Called to Pray: An Intercessor's Toolkit (Part 1),” answers some foundational questions for one’s personal prayer life: Is a prayer the right one? Will God hear it? How does one find the right Scriptures? Book one contains tools to help the reader’s prayer life become fuller, richer and more meaningful than mechanical. It's time to speak life into the lives of others using the word of God and the intercessor's toolkit. The New Oxford American Dictionary says, ”An intercessor is a person who intervenes on behalf of another, especially by prayer.”
“Called to Pray: An Intercessor's Toolkit (Part 2),” contains A-Z Scripture references, providing a ready-at-the-fingertips listing of verses from God's word to use in prayer time.
The third book in the series is the companion prayer journal. It is to be used to record prayers, and the answers when they come.
Lewis has long felt the call to intercede for others. After retiring from teaching at a community college, she began incorporating her holy spirit gifts of teaching, encouragement and mercy with her call to intercession. She leads several prayer circles, putting her calling into action, and is available to speak at churches and conduct workshops for prayer groups.
