Acrylic painting class set at Rehoboth Art League beginning Sept. 18

September 10, 2018

Ever wanted to learn how to paint? Acrylic painting is a great medium for beginner painters because it dries quickly and is very forgiving. If not happy with an area painted, let it dry and paint right over it in a matter of minutes. Learn “Acrylic Painting Basics” Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m., Sept. 18 through Oct. 9. This four-week class will introduce composition as well as painting and brush techniques. Local instructor Myndi Smithers will also cover color theory and mixing acrylic colors. The cost for the acrylic painting class is $100 for members and $135 for nonmembers.

To register for this class, go to www.rehobothartleague.org or call 302-227-8408 Ext. 112.  All classes are held at the Rehoboth Art League, located at 12 Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres.

The Rehoboth Art League is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making art accessible to all. This program is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.  The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
