Anna Burkholder to lead Paul Cullen’s All Access VIP Club

July 30, 2021

Paul Cullen, founder of Paul’s Cullen-ary Company, announced that Anna Burkholder has been named executive director of his new All Access VIP Club, a members-only initiative that offers discounts and other perks.

“We are pleased that Anna has joined our team and can offer personalized service to our club members,” said Cullen, whose businesses include the Room at Cedar Grove in Lewes, an event venue, in-home dining experiences and Paul’s Kitchen Italian Market & Brunch.

“We are doing so many exciting things - including trips to Italy - so we needed a dedicated concierge-like communicator to manage the club and make sure our members receive the personal attention that they deserve,” he said.

Burkholder will be responsible for the club’s administration and communication with the members. Prior to joining Pauls’ Cullen-ary Company, she was a communication associate with the American Farm Bureau Federation in Washington, D.C.

After spending 30 years with the bureau, she moved to Lewes, where she started the YouTube channel “Anna's Coastal Kitchen.”

“My other passion is growing organic fruits and vegetables in my small garden,” she said. “I want to teach others where their food comes from and how to create a backyard farm of their own.”

Burkholder, who sings with a classic rock band, plans to post videos of local musicians on her YouTube channel playlist tab.

Cullen, who was a bass player with Bad Company, has organized sold-out concerts at the Room at Cedar Grove.

“I’m excited to work with Paul because his business incorporates two things that I love: food and music,” she said. “The All Access VIP Club is a treat for those who appreciate both.”

Limited to just 100 founding members, the club costs $29.99 a month. For more information, go to paulcullen.rocks.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Paul Cullen grew up on cuisine made by his Italian grandmother Elsie Tagliaferro and his mother Nancy.

He developed a love of fine food and wine while touring Europe with the classic rock band Bad Company. Three decades later, he put down his bass and picked up an acoustic guitar, chef’s knife and wine key to create a diverse culinary company.

Over the past six years, he’s prepared in-home meals for more than 10,000 guests. A private concert follows each dinner. Cullen has brought his kitchen knives and guitar to Costa Rica, Tuscany and throughout the United States.

Dedicated to adult education, Cullen became a WSET-certified Level II sommelier in 2018. On repeated trips to Italy, he deepened his love and knowledge of Italian cuisine by cooking with local chefs, sipping wine with winemakers and strolling the vineyards. He also performed with Italian musicians.

In addition to in-home dining, Cullen owns Paul’s Kitchen, an Italian specialty store and brunch spot in Lewes, the adjoining Room at Cedar Grove, an event space, and Unplugged & Uncorked, a wine company. He recently started Paul Kares to help aspiring musicians and those interested in hospitality careers.
