Anthony Eugene Duffy, self-employed handyman
Anthony Eugene Duffy, 54, of Lewes died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at his residence.
Born in Lewes, he was the son of Irene Williams Duffy of Rehoboth Beach and the late John E. Duffy. He received his early Christian training at Faith United Methodist Church. Prior to his passing, he was self-employed as a handyman.
In addition to his mother, loving memories will remain with two sons, Anthony "Tony" and Brian Duncan; three daughters, Adriane Duncan, Adelle Bailey, and Brandy Duncan; eight brothers, Charles, James Sr., John (Diana), Bruce (Sallie), Carlton, Cornell (Stephanie), Kelvin(Pamela), and Marvin (Jene) Duffy; three sisters, Linda (Diaz) Bonville, Bernita Hackney, and Marlene Duffy; nine grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Mr. Duffy will lie in repose Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Faith United Methodist Church, 19940 Church St., Rehoboth Beach. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. The Rev. Jerome E. Tilghman Sr. will be the officiating pastor. Burial will follow in the Peoples Memorial Park, Route 1, Rehoboth Beach.
