July 21, 2025

Aquacare and Fitness Forum Physical Therapy has earned certification from Great Place To Work.

The recognition is based solely on what current employees say about their experience working at the company. In the 2025 survey, 85% of employees said Aquacare and Fitness Forum is a great place to work, significantly higher than the national average of 57% for U.S. companies.

Aquacare and Fitness Forum are sister companies with 12 outpatient physical therapy locations across Delaware and Maryland. Locally owned for over 26 years, the organization is women-owned, physical therapist-owned and community-focused.

“We are honored to receive the Great Place To Work certification,” said Cara Konlian, MPT, CEO of Aquacare and Fitness Forum Physical Therapy. “This award reflects our commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive and growth-oriented workplace. Our incredible team is the reason behind our success, and we are truly grateful for their dedication to our patients and to each other.”

At Aquacare and Fitness Forum, employees benefit from a workplace culture that values clinical excellence, work-life balance and meaningful professional growth. Leadership actively supports mentorship programs, continuing education and internal promotion opportunities to invest in team members' long-term success. The company also champions wellness initiatives and maintains a collaborative environment across all clinic locations.

“As physical therapists ourselves, we know firsthand how important it is to feel supported and valued in your work,” said Jennifer O’Neill, MPT, co-owner and chief operating officer for Aquacare and Fitness Forum. “That philosophy has shaped how we care for our staff and our patients.”
