A member of the Sussex Central National Honor Society, Karly likes to work out at the gym in her spare time away from the books and the diamond. In the off-season, she plays travel ball with the East Coast Xplosion.

Cierra Lewis

A force in the circle for the District 3 squad, Cierra kept the opposing batters off-balance throughout the Senior Softball World Series last week. She started six games, pitching 29 innings, garnering five wins and striking out 23. She also helped herself at the plate, averaging .353 with an on-base percentage of .500. She slammed four singles and two doubles en route to six RBIs. She also drew four walks. "Cierra is a quiet kid, but throws the ball with all her power every inning," said Delaware manager Clint Lutz.  "A veteran of World Series play, she led the Delaware team by example every game." Despite playing most of the week with an ankle injury, Cierra was one of the top pitchers. When not playing for Sussex Tech, she also plays travel ball with the Empire State Huskies.

Taylor Lowe

This Delaware District 3 senior all-star had a powerful week at the plate during the Senior Softball World Series in Roxana. She lit up her opponents by slamming three home runs, two triples and two singles for 10 RBIs for the host squad. She averaged .389 with an on-base percentage of .450, while scoring seven runs. "Taylor just calmly goes up to the plate and swings a bat as hard as anyone," said Delaware manager Clint Lutz. "She just hits it a mile. I'm not sure if they have come down yet. She finished at the top of the leaderboard in multiple stats for the tournament.” In the off-season, she plays travel ball for the East Coast Xplosion. A recent graduate of Delmarva Christian High School, where she was class valedictorian and graduated early, she will be attending Hood College in the fall.

Adeline also caught one game against Asia-Pacific where she threw out the only stolen base attempt. "Adeline’s work ethic and positive attitude make her a true leader both on and off the field," said player advocate Kylie Kruger. "She goes 100% every play." When not playing for the Golden Knights, she plays travel ball with the East Coast Xplosion.
