April 23, 2019

“Holy Thursday, Batman!” The tradition continues every Thursday afternoon before Easter and a week-long spring break. The Cape girls’ lacrosse team hosts an Easter egg hunt and long toss competition for the girls from Atlantic Lacrosse.

Sparkly egg winners get to be on the field and warm up with the team prior to the May 3 home game versus Polytech. The young girls are introduced along with the Cape team in a “take me to your feeder” show of unity and continuity.

The sparkly egg winners were Ella Johnson and Hazel Mancari. Emily Wells found the golden egg.

Winners of the longest throw include:

U9 - 1. Coral Trench; 2. Minni Pettengall; 3. Greer Lawson and Sadie Wakefield

U11 - 1. Teagan Baker; 2. Mairead Rishko; 3. Attia Sabbagh

U13 - 1. Reagan Best; 2. Claire Lopez; 3. Emily Bisaha.
