Beach Goes Red, White & Blue to salute those who serve June 8

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to join in saluting the Delaware USO, Delaware’s first responders, police officers, firefighters, lifeguards, paramedics, military and all those who serve, Saturday, June 8, in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

The 4th Annual Beach Goes Red, White & Blue activities will begin at 11 a.m. around the Rehoboth Bandstand. Highlights include demonstrations and displays from USO Delaware, police, military and first responders, Fort Miles WWII 90MM restored artillery gun display and searchlight, balloon twisting, children’s activities and more.

At noon, everyone can look to the sky for a vintage plane flyover during the USO Show Troupe performance on the Bandstand.

The event will end with an evening performance by the U.S. Army Band Downrange and an old-fashioned boardwalk dance organized by the Rehoboth Beach Museum.
