Beebe Healthcare welcomes new medical group CAO
Beebe Healthcare recently announced Cary Marble as Beebe Medical Group chief administrative officer.
Marble started in August, filling a vacancy of almost a year as Beebe conducted a nationwide search for the vital leadership role. Marble’s focus will be on making Beebe and Beebe Medical Group work better together to reach the goal of being a more integrated health system that wraps care around the patient.
She brings more than 30 years of proven experience as a healthcare and business executive with a reputation for being a results-driven problem solver and compassionate leader working closely with clinicians and the community.
Beebe’s strategic plan, One Beebe, emphasizes streamlined operations and improved access to care for Sussex County.
“When a patient moves seamlessly through the outpatient and inpatient care system, the overall experience and well-being of our patients and community improve,” said Dr. David A. Tam, Beebe Healthcare president and CEO. “As Beebe Medical Group continues to grow throughout Sussex County and recruit more physicians to care for our growing population, this integration and continuum of care becomes increasingly important. We are ready for Cary to help us grow in this area, as she was instrumental in helping the medical group become an integral part of Arnot Health to support the overall system strategy.”
As Beebe moves to implement Epic as its electronic health record and MyChart as its patient portal, Marble’s hands-on experience with the EHR will be crucial. She guided a major transition at Arnot Health, and she’s ready to help Beebe use Epic to make scheduling easier for patients and reduce hassles for clinicians.
“I'm proud my career has focused on making local healthcare both accessible and world-class — my roots are in community,” Marble said. “I was drawn to Beebe's rich history of caring for the greater Sussex County area and am looking forward to being a part of this healthcare ‘village.’ Honoring the great work that the Beebe team has accomplished while fostering the never-ending responsibility to deliver the highest-quality, compassionate care locally is my mission. I'm very excited to make the Beebe and Sussex County community my new home.”
Marble holds a master’s degree in business and organizational development from Rochester Institute of Technology, a bachelor’s degree in education from Keuka College, and an associate’s degree in applied science from SUNY Alfred, all earned with honors. She has also completed executive management quality training at the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Institute and Studer Group Leadership Training.
“Cary’s arrival fills a crucial leadership role for Beebe Medical Group,” said Paul R. Sierzenski, MD, MSHQS, CPE, FACEP, Beebe Healthcare senior vice president and chief physician executive. “I am confident and excited that Cary will continue to support BMG’s focus on operational excellence, patient access and our ongoing pursuit of exceptional care to further the mission of Beebe Healthcare for the people of Sussex County.”
