Beebe Healthcare is inviting the community to a family-friendly open house for its brand-new facility at the Long Neck Health Center.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick-start the event at 3 p.m., with tours to follow every half-hour until 6:30 p.m., at 32050 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
Guests will be able to tour Beebe Primary Care Long Neck where the family medicine residency practice cares for patients. With the arrival of four more physician residents this summer, the office will be able to offer approximately 20,000 appointments throughout the year.
Family medicine residency practice services include: primary care for all ages, with focus on health, wellness and quality of life; comprehensive women’s health services; obstetrical services, including pre- and post-natal care for moms; men’s health services; pediatric care for all ages; mental health programs and services; dermatology services; osteopathic manipulative medicine, to optimize preventive care and streamline the process of healing; point of care ultrasound; health education; and wellness guidance.
In addition to tours and meet-and-greets with Beebe staff, activities include face painting, car seat checks, gift bags and interactions with representatives from Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Sussex County Emergency Medical Services and Beebe Mobile Health Clinic.
