Bethany community hosts fundraiser for Sussex Habitat

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity received a donation of $5,633 from Bay Forest at Bethany Beach.
Community residents came together for a Fund in the Sun gathering June 17 to support affordable housing in the county.
“We are so grateful to the Bay Forest community for their generosity and spirit of giving,” said Ricky Pollitt, director of development for Sussex Habitat. “Events like this show how neighbors can come together to make a real impact for families working toward safe and affordable housing.”
