Blaine Preston Banks, poultry industry retiree
Blaine Preston Banks, 73, of Horntown, Va., formerly of Frankford, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, Va.
Blaine was born in Frankford Aug. 19, 1945, son of the late Preston Lee Banks and the late Louise (Collins) Banks. He worked for several years in the poultry industry before his retirement. Blaine was a homebody who loved to have a good time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Barbara Hall, George Banks, William Banks and Jane Workman. He is survived by his eight siblings, Patricia Smallwood, Doris Franklin, Linwood Banks, Linda Griffin and her husband Alex, Jerry Banks and his wife Bonnie, Dene Robbins and her husband Jimmy, Cindy Rogers and her husband Ralph, and Tammy Hudson and her husband Kim; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends and family may call after noon. Interment will follow at Redmen Cemetery in Dagsboro.
