Bowers joins Cape Artists

Artist Jean Bowers is a recent addition to the Cape Artists Gallery in Lewes. Bowers relocated from the Washington, D.C. area after retiring as a librarian and library manager in 2009. Many of her paintings reflect the beauty found in local scenes.
She is a member of the Rehoboth Art League, the Misipillion Art League, the Worcester County Council for the Arts and Delaware By Hand.
Her painting of the Blue Ridge Mountains will be on exhibit through mid-July at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover. Bowers also has paintings at the Josephine Keir Petite Gallery in Lewes. The Cape Artists Gallery is at 110 W. Third St. in Lewes and is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
