Bruce Allen Rogers, talk show host

Bruce Allen Rogers, 61, a life-long Sussex County resident, expired this life from his battle with cancer in the early hours of Monday, Sept. 23, 2019. 

He leaves behind one daughter, Blair; a grandchild Swayze; three brothers, Steve, Arthur and Kyle Rogers; and one sister, Cheri Rogers Waynant.  He was the middle son of Arthur Kenneth Rogers and Doteileen Mariner Rogers.  He worked as a disc jockey, a radio talk show host as Bill Rogers, and as front desk assistant manager and clerk for the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel in Rehoboth Beach. 

His passionate joy was USA and national politics.  He enjoyed meeting and talking with people, and was known for his sense of humor and love of all things Rehoboth.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend a celebration of his life in his honor at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel Banquet Room, 2 Olive Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
