By spelling the word infusoria, Brynn Evick triumphed in the Lewes Elementary spelling bee to become school champion.
School runner-up Gavin Charles earned his spot by correctly spelling rubicund. Brynn and Gavin will next compete at the Sussex County Libraries Regional Spelling Bee, set for April 1 at Sussex Academy in Georgetown.
