Canalfront Builders wins Best Custom Home of the Year Award

Lewes-based Canalfront Builders received four Regal Awards this year from the Home Builders Association of Delaware, with the prestigious award for Best Delaware Custom Home of the Year going to Canalfront’s project in Wolfe Pointe, Lewes.

Canalfront owner Mark Fitzgerald said, “None of this would be possible without the incredible Canalfront team and our fantastic trade partners who work with us to achieve the level of quality we expect every day. We were also fortunate to have clients who had a well-thought-out vision and trusted us to deliver that to them.”

The 33rd Annual Regal Awards ceremony was held May 9 at the Lighthouse Cove Event Center in Dewey Beach, recognizing excellence and outstanding achievements in Delaware home building. Regal Award judges are vetted from outside the HBADE organization so they can provide impartial reviews and assign scores to all the entries. Criteria are based on design, craftsmanship and completeness of entry.

Canalfront also won Best Kitchen Design by a Custom Builder for the Wolfe Pointe project, in addition to awards for Best Luxury Custom Home, 3,000-4,000 Sq. Ft. by a Custom Builder, for the Modern Family Farmhouse in Showfield, and Best Print Campaign (Ad, Direct Mail or Postcard) by a Custom Builder.
