Cape district receives donations for homeless student needs

The Cape Henlopen School District team extends thanks to two local groups that donated funds to help homeless students in the district.
The Cape Henlopen High School Class of 1988 members collected donations at their 30-year reunion held Nov. 24. Also, after hearing about the number of students in need throughout the district, representatives of the Big Fish Foundation recently presented a check for $5,000 to the district homeless student liaisons.
Donations like these will help provide students with items throughout the school year including clothing, hygiene products, pillows and other various needs that arise.
