Cape Gazette enjoys a lot of vino in France and Italy

April 7, 2017

Gazette readers Nicole Sartori, Dana Meadows and sister Valerie Meadows (not pictured) traveled to France and Italy to take in the sights and culture. They enjoyed lots of vino while traveling. The girls visited Paris, France and the northern region of Italy: Milan, Venice, Padua and Florence. They also had a wonderful opportunity to see all the well-known attractions such as the the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame in Paris; The Last Supper in Milan, the Statue of David in Florence, Venice’s San Marco Piazza and Basilica, and the Venetian islands, including the Murano Glass island.

The ladies took a moment to stop and pause with their favorite newspaper at Burano Island, famous for its colorful houses. “Traveling through Italy using their high-speed rail system is simple and safe,” said Dana. “We plan to revisit again to travel the southern region. Enjoying vino in France and Italy is almost as enjoyable as reading the best paper around.”
