Cape hockey sells team masks to benefit Beebe

August 21, 2020

The Cape Henlopen High School field hockey team recently sold CH face masks to the community. The proceeds of $750 were presented to Beebe Medical Foundation.

The idea was developed by players on the team, and the boosters helped with production and sale of the masks.

“These young women are true champions, and I am proud to serve them and the students, parents and staff of our Cape Henlopen Vikings,” said Dr. David Tam, president and CEO of Beebe Healthcare.

Shown left of the masked players are Kay Young, Beebe Medical Foundation executive director of development, and Dr. David Tam. Right of players are Tom Protack, Beebe Medical Foundation president, and Karen Duffield, annual fund and grant coordinator.
