Cape soccer alumni play fun and competitive game

November 29, 2021

Former Cape soccer players came together Nov. 24 to relive their Vikings glory days with past teammates. It was a coed game where the teams were split by even graduation years versus odd graduation years. The even squad won 6-2.

“It was a great time to come back and play with my teammates,” said former Cape player Haley Schnupp. “I had a great time.”

“It’s fun to relive our playing days,” said 2019 grad Bradley Seneus, who had a goal and an assist in the game. “It’s great to see old friends and teammates. Lots of positivity.”

“We all still have the connection going,” said Troy Humphries. “It’s always fun to compete.”

“It was a lot of fun seeing the men and women who played for Cape soccer come back to play and visit,” said Cape head coach Patrick Kilby. “Our alumni spanned 29 years, from the class of 1992 to 2021. Our Thanksgiving alumni tradition started in 2016, and we are excited to see it continue.”
