Cape students attend career development conference

Cape Henlopen High School students and their adviser Cagney France attended the Delaware DECA State Career Development Conference Feb. 9 and 10. Students attended various workshops offered between their competitive events. Some of the workshops students participated in were Dress for Success, Careers Inc., Transition, and What’s Your Talent.
One of the most popular workshops was Social Networking, presented by Joe Sartiano from YTI Career Institute.
At the end of the day's events, Maggie Williamson went home with first place in the Hotel and Lodging Management competition. DECA is a student organization for business and marketing.
