Celebrating the nifty 50 in New York with dear friends and the Cape Gazette

Cape Gazette readers Brian & Jenn Barrows, along with their dear friends Manoug & Monica Yenovkian, visited New York’s famous Finger Lake Region this summer to celebrate Brian’s 50th birthday and nearly 15 years of friendship.

They hit Seneca Lake, Keuka Lake and got up extra early to hike the Watkins Glen Gorge trail without the crowds. “It was a stunning place, with waterfalls and stone bridges,” said Jenn. “We hoped to escape some of the heat of summer but their region was also hot and humid during our stay. We were grateful for the stunning change of scenery, outdoor dining and lots of open space to celebrate life!”
