CHEF welcomes new board members

Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation recently welcomed five community leaders and educators to its board of directors.

They are: Jessica Johnson, accountant and office manager for Johnson Orthodontics, from Rehoboth Beach; Janis Lopez, assistant dean for graduate services at the University of Delaware's College of Earth, Ocean and Environment, from Lewes; Alison Hughes, English instructor at Delaware Technical Community College, from Milton; Dana Orton, English teacher at Mariner Middle School, from Lewes; and Chris Burkhart, music and band teacher at Cape Henlopen High School, from Milton.

They were welcomed by CHEF Board President Jeff Gordon. Since 2007, CHEF has been a nonprofit strategic partner of the Cape Henlopen School District, raising funds for educational programs in grades K-12. For more information go to www.chef-cape.org.
