Children’s Beach House was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the Captrust Community Foundation.
As part of the foundation’s annual giving day campaign, Captrust selected 80 children’s organizations nationwide to receive support, with a total of $800,000 distributed across the country.
The grant will directly benefit CBH programs for children with special needs and their families, including its year-round youth development program that provides mentoring, skill-building and enrichment opportunities.
“We are deeply grateful to the Captrust Community Foundation for their investment in the children we serve,” said Rich Garrett, CBH executive director. “This grant helps us expand our ability to give kids the confidence, connections and tools they need to thrive. Support like this strengthens our mission and makes a real difference in the lives of Delaware families.”
“The work Children's Beach House does to empower children and build stronger communities aligns perfectly with the mission of the Captrust Community Foundation," said Cathy Seeber, principal and financial advisor at Captrust. "I’m thrilled to see them recognized and supported through this year’s giving day.”
Founded in 1936, Children’s Beach House serves children statewide through early childhood education, after-school programming, residential camps and family wrap-around services, helping children, families and communities build futures of hope and transformation.
