Chocolate Crawl presents awards to winners

Results are in, and winners have been announced for the Harry K Foundation’s third annual Chocolate Crawl in Rehoboth Beach. Proceeds help the foundation fulfill its mission to combat childhood hunger and food insecurity in Delaware.

The Kove took first place with a dark chocolate mousse and peanut butter crispy crunch cookie dipped in white chocolate and garnished with a citrus candy. 

Blue Moon and Dalmata tied for second place. Blue Moon created a maple bacon brownie and a death by chocolate martini shot. Dalmata presented a chocolate mascarpone mousse with a tiramisu crumble and a mint mocha espresso.

Tying for third place were Goolee's Grille and The Ice Cream Store. Goolee's created chocolate chip pancakes with powdered sugar. The Ice Cream Store created a sundae with a scoop of pistoff ice cream topped with a scoop of chocolate crack and pistachio butter, garnished with edible gold flakes.
