Country music group Trailer Choir to perform Sept. 27 at Dover Downs
Fans coming to Dover International Speedway Sunday, Sept. 27, will get a double dose of the sounds of the country music group Trailer Choir prior to the start of the AAA 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
The group will perform songs from its debut release, “Off The Hillbilly Hook,” including the hit song “Rockin’ the Beer Gut” live on the Victory Plaza stage at 10 a.m., Sunday morning, and will later sing the national anthem prior to the start of the AAA 400 at 2 p.m.
For Trailer Choir, the last 18 months have been a frenetic introduction to the national stage. From their signing with label Show Dog Nashville to being named the best new country duo/group by About.com, the trio made a notable impression on country music without seeming to pause for so much as an extra breath.
The band, consisting of Butter, Big Vinny and Crystal, made a name for itself while on tour with country music superstar Toby Keith.
The Trailer Choir concert on Sunday of race weekend highlights a full list of fun and free activities available for race fans at the track throughout the weekend. For more information about entertainment, attractions and the schedule of events, visit DoverSpeedway.com.
