Delaware Farm Bureau unveils new website

April 27, 2016

Delaware Farm Bureau has announced the launch of its newly redesigned website. The site, www.defb.org, provides a user-friendly experience with easier navigation as well as up-to-date information relevant to members.

Many new features help users navigate the site and find the information they need pertaining to member benefits, board and committee information, and applying for membership online.

Members can join or renew with the easy-to-manage online application. Once an application is processed by the office, members receive a welcome email as well as a physical membership card directly to their mailbox. Members can browse the categorized member benefits pages to easily find the benefit that interests them.

With an extensive About Us section, visitors can learn all about the Delaware Farm Bureau’s programs and committees. A newly launched Newsroom section contains the Delaware Farm Bureau News bimonthly publication and press release feed.

Other features include streamline links to the Delaware Farm Bureau Foundation, Young Farmers and Ranchers, and Women’s Committee pages, an easy-to-use Contact Us form and links to all forms of Delaware Farm Bureau social media.

Delaware Farm Bureau was established in 1944 as a unified voice for Delaware farmers dedicated to preserving agriculture as an industry and way of life. Controlled by its members through the democratic process and financed through membership dues, this group of over 8,400 farm families and associate members helps form a national organization that is over 6 million strong. The farm bureau has defended agriculture against unreasonable taxes and regulations, threats to property rights and damaging misconceptions about farming.
