Delaware Tech veterans club donates to Georgetown shelter

The Veterans Inspiring Progress Club at Delaware Tech’s Owens Campus in Georgetown recently donated $500 to the Georgetown Presbyterian Church shelter.
The club raised the money by holding various fundraisers, including bake sales, silent auctions, a car show, and a dine and donate event.
Georgetown Presbyterian Church serves as a Code Purple Shelter, meaning it gives emergency shelter to aid the homeless on cold winter nights. It also provides shelter when other dangerous weather conditions occur outside the Code Purple season.
