The Delmarva Rush U12 soccer team kicked off the Spring Classic in Maryland with a championship run.
The team battled through the tournament with impressive results: 2-1, 3-0, 1-1 and a strong 2-0 finish in the final. The squad allowed only two goals across the entire tournament, the fewest in the bracket.
Shoutout to the defensive unit of Jackson Smith, Matthew Fragoso, Aiden McQuaide and Cooper Dixon, along with Logan Curty, who stood out as the top keeper in the tournament.
On the offensive side, Mark Gleysteen, Dominick DiNunzio, Matias Roblero Lopez, Carter Gray, Ozan Yalcin and Aaron Morin created opportunities with smart passing and teamwork.
The Rush squad is coached by Jeremy Hurd, Joshua Smith and Dominick DiNunzio.
