The Dewey Beach streets were packed July 4, with people traveling from near and far to enjoy the holiday festivities.
The Lighthouse held a happy hour taco toss on its Sunset Deck, featuring $1 tacos, hot dogs, oysters and shrimp, as well as drink specials. Popular band Decade 80 performed as the sun set, donning patriotic American flag-themed outfits and bandanas.
Once it was dark, folks gathered to watch fireworks display around 9:30 p.m. near Northbeach.
