I wanted to thank everyone who stopped to help me corral my foxhound, Maddy.
I was at the cemetery in Lewes preparing to put Christmas flowers on my grammy's grave when Maddy leaped from the car unexpectedly and ran amuck in the cemetery and into the street. People stopped their cars in the middle of the road and a lady jumped out of her car to help me. I was completely unprepared for the situation. The lady held onto Maddy with concern for us both while I ran to the car to get the leash.
Thank you again to everyone who helped. And to the lady with the coonhound, a special thank you, and I'm absolutely taking your advice. This could have been a disastrous event.
