Dogfish Head hosts inaugural Punkin’ Ale Festival

October 19, 2023

Dogfish Head in Milton held its inaugural Punkin’ Ale Festival Oct. 14, celebrating fall and, of course, Dogfish’s signature Punkin’ Ale beer.

The event, despite being hampered by rainy weather, was free to attend and featured food and craft vendors, live music, and Dogfish beer and spirits. Proceeds raised at the festival went to Brandywine Valley SPCA, which brought dogs for adoption.

In addition, the festival saw the debut of two new libations: Nashi Raga, a Japanese rice lager brewed in collaboration with Salisbury, Md.-based Burnish Brewing Co., and Deltucky Julep, a Dogfish take on the mint julep using peaches and peach juice from Fifer Orchards.
