Doris W. Scott, Cape district retiree

Doris W. Scott, 86, of Milton passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

She was born in Guilford, N.Y., the daughter of the late Floyd and Mabel (MacComber) Wright.

She was a para-professional for the Cape Henlopen School District. She was a member of Goshen U.M. Church in Milton. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and bowling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by by her husband, Fred P. Scott; her siblings, Richard “Yogi” Wright, Dorothy Anton-Andrie, Marion Woodrum and Janet Farrell.

She is survived by her children, Dale Scott of Milton and Shannan Wilcutts and husband David of Harrington; brother, R. William Wright of Milton; grandson, David Wilcutts, II and wife Kim; and three great -andchildren, Joel, Sarah and Thomas Wilcutts.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
